Holiday : 184,000 visitors flock to Ancol

More than 184,000 visitors spent their holiday weekend at Ancol Dreamland Park in North Jakarta, park management says.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol said in a Tuesday press release that visits had surpassed their target for the weekend.

"We targeted 177,000 visitors this weekend. But, as of Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., the figure has reached 184,000," the statement said.

Recreation director Winarto said that the park's beaches, Fantasy World and the Atlantis Water Adventure were among visitors’ favorite venues.

Winarto said the park also plans to launch its Ecopark in June, as well as a state-of-the-art animatronic theater.
